Check your rear tire regularly to make sure that it doesn't get chewed up by the standoff bolts!!
With a passenger it cost me a tire in 20 Miles!!! It was down to the canvas!!!!!
Without it just trims off the outside edge!!
This, of course, depends on where they are mounted.
Is the front mount at the front of the chrome or somewhere in the middle?
If it's at the front, you should be ok.
